I found out that in my life I hang out with more boys than girls. I have one best guy bud, me and him really grew up together, we were born on the same day so I call him my twin. Me and him hang out everyday but one day we were playing truth or dare with my other best buds and my friend DJ asked if brendan ( my best guy bud) if he liked me more than a friend and he said yes! I really have not hung around him after that day he still calls me texts me and IM he still tells all my friends he likes me still. I really don't know what to do!! HELP!! I don't want to take away our friendship cause I don't feel the same way...

Omg! I know you from myspace! Your powered by suger! Anyway on with the advice, all right well if you don't like him then you should kind of tell him that... I know things will work out! I bet you to can still be friends! Just tell him! Is that cool with you? I bet it is lol!

Tell him you are only interested in friends because you like things just where they were.
It is a shame to lose a really good long standing friendship over a misunderstanding.

I'm a confused. Did your longtime buddy tell you he liked you or a 3rd party?

If a 3rd party, ignore it and don't bring it up to your buddy. Just continue on with your friendship and try to not bring too many things you hear from 3rd parties into it.

If your buddy confessed to you himself he likes you, thank him for the compliment, but leave it at that. "I appreciate your telling me. I'll try not to be too flirty, then, until you tell me it's safe again since I want to make sure our friendship is never jeopardized by those feelings you're having. Let me know when we're 'safe' again. And thanks for telling me, it's very sweet and I know you, too, want to make sure our friendship is never broken."

The question the one asked him was do you like [the OP] as more than just friends.
He said more and ever since she heard him say that she is uncomfortable around him.

What you should do is just tell him that you just want to be friends. It would be a shame if you and you "twin" would not be friends anymore.

I agree with the above... Just because he likes you doesn't mean you can't be his friend, hang out with him like you always do... and if he starts to act like he is or wants to be more than a friend, set him striaght.. but nicely, don't make him feel emberassed, just tell him something like if you ended upo dating and you two broke up you wouldn't want to lose him as a friend. Hopfully he understands, and don't worry he should be able to move on soon, there's other people out there for both of u.
