"CCD" actually stands for Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (but yes, Catholic Christian Doctrine is what it means)

If you say so Rick, I was not sure, so I searched it and found that meaning on one of the Catholic Web sites.
It was always just another name for Catholic education departments, one of those letter names you never think about.
