    I need to change a 220 motor to 110. How do I rewire?
    I moved into a house without 220 elect. My air compressor is 220. I need to re-wire the motor to 110. I need help.

    Are you sure you don't have 220, perhaps just don't have the proper breaker and outlet

    Remove the cover plate where the wiring is connected to the motor. The instructions should be on the reverse side if it can be done, and it probably can.

    PS
    You may not have 240 volts where you want it, but its almost a certianty that the house has 240 volts. And its 240 not 220.

    Yes only dual voltage motors can be changed from one to another, and the diagram will usually be located inside the connection panel.
