Lawsuit served for an $800 debt
I received papers on Saturday for a lawsuit regarding a debt of $801. The papers do not have the original creditors name, address, or anything to help me "remember" what it belongs to.

The collection agency, Pallisades, is on my credit report with a different dollar amount.

What do I do? I know I need to answer by the 28th of July.

What do I answer with? Would a validation request be smart at this time?

I really have no $ to afford a lawyer or get legal help at this time.

Letter to defend, deny owing the debt and request validation of debt comes to mind.
