    What do I do ,when job says they don't pay overtime,even after your 40 hours ?

    First be sure you are covered by the overtime laws, some positions are not covered, as a police officer for example we did not get overtime merely credit for paid time off. Or you are not on salary, for example now I get paid one set wage no matter how much I work.

    But if you are to get it, you can report it to the labor department
