    Broken retainer?
    I broke my bottom retainer today and I was just wondering what other people have paid for their replacement retainers.
    Also, I've had my braces off for 2 years and I have the permanent retainers as well, is it still necessary to wear the night retainers?

    I'd check with your orthodonist but if you have retainers cemented in behind the front teeth on the top and bottom you are probably OK. Give your orthodontist a call to see what he says.
