My last period began May 30 and ended June 2 and as far as I know I was due again on June 28(-ish). I have been off the pill since August of 07 and after a few months of adjusting my period became regular (now I'm just using condoms and the "pull out" method) and not concerned about being pregnant. I would actually love the idea... I've been feeling tired a lot in the past two weeks and bloated, period like cramping in my lower stomach the past few days and sore breast... I've also been a little stomach sick the past week... I know all of this could also sound like period symptoms but pregnancy symptoms also. So I have done 3 home test all negative and on July 5 made my first trip to emerge (I have no family doc)...

The doc said that my urine test was negative and there was nothing wrong with me! Said it was summer and I am probably more active now and that's why I am running late. I couldn't believe it. But it also turned out I don't have any infections either so that's one thing I can scratch off my list. He said it was to early to rule out me being pregnant and I should come back next week for another test! And maybe an ultrasound...

Visit 2 was yesterday... another disappointing Doc visit to be told the same as before... Negative test result and I may still be pregnant... He didn't know. Blames my missed period on being off the pill for a year... no blood test... but ask me if I had any pregnancy like symptoms and when I told him I was stomach sick, tender breast and period like cramping in my stomach, he said I could be pregnant... just come back next week for a repeat... and shoved out the door...

I have been thinking a lot since yesterday and been doing a lot of reading on the internet about pregnancy and have read some articles about thinking your pregnant and tricking your body into feeling the symptoms of pregnancy... I'm starting to wonder if I'm just thinking about this too much and I just think I have pregnancy symptoms... I don't know if that would make your period late because I didn't really do much wondering till after my first doc visit... Is this possible... can you imagine sore breast, heartburn, tiredness, period like cramping and urinating a lot... and a missed period?? Could someone shed some light on this for me?

Is there a chance I could be pregnant?? I just need to know if this has happened to anyone else...

Yes, you could be pregnant even with several negative tests. Would it save you some money to just do a home pregnancy test? The urine tests they use at the hospital or in a doctor's office are not any more sensitive then some of the ones you can buy yourself. Maybe get a double pack and try another test next week if still no period. Then you will still have another test to try later if need be. You may be just skipping this month as well... can happen for no obvious reason.
It can happen that someone causes themselves to experience pregnancy symptoms, but this is usually when someone is really wanting to be pregnant and they are so fixated on it that the symptoms develop.

Going to the doc for me is cheaper. I live in Canada and cover under MCP... We don't pay for doc visits... only medication...

I guess I'll just wait to see what happens...
