My son is 5yrs old he has been seeng his father for the past year or so, me and my sons father had a break down in communication over 2 1/2 yrs ago and I heard nothing from him until a court hearing came through, in the end of the court hearing we came to a mutual agreement that our son would see his father every 2 weeks for 1 day. Things went well for the past 7 mth but then started to go rapidly wrong I started to get phone calls off my son asking me to pick him up he was crying down the phone apparently because his father would not play with him he wanted to watch the football and was told to go in another room out of the way(baring in mind he was 4 at the timeand his father only saw him once every 2 weeks), a few more eposodes like this happened over other things and it got to the point where my son did not want to go, to try and make my son feel comfortable around his father again I invited him in our garden 1 night to play with our son in his own environment my son went uptairs and wouldn't come down till he went, then it was my sons 5th birthday recently and his father had give him a couple off weeks break and my son with so encouragement he went over his dads to get his birthday presents upon arriving home my son came into the house crying once again his dad had baught him a hand held computer but wouldn't let him have it at home he said he was only allowed ot if he went to his house my son was breaking his heart for a few days his eyes were puuffy and my son couldn't understand why he wasn't allowed his birthday present, the father phoned a few days later saying he wanted my son to go with him but all my son kept saying is no never I am staying here I don't like you leave me alone but the father says he is going to take me to court to see his child I mean I can't do enough to try and get my son to see his dad but I will never force him because off the states he's been coming home in what should I do and what do you thin the most possoble outcome off the courts will be.

Sounds like if he wants to continue with visits with your son you might need to go back to court and request temporary supervised visits. A worker could help be a mediator to see the problems and make suggestions and work with your son on giving his dad another chance.

I don't really know what a judge would say. That is hard to predict.

I would like to suggest family counseling. All three of you sit down and talk this out. Figure out what is going on. The court is not going to get to the heart of the problem or fix it.

I have almost the same similar situation. My son is almost 6 and never saw his dad until he was 4 years old. He goes over there once a week but doesn't want to go over there anymore. His dad is renting a house with his girlfriend and girlfreinds family and does not have his own room. I tink that might be a reason. But I honestly don't have an answer fro you because I'm in your same situation.
