I think my wife is cheating on me. She thinks she has a bladder infection. I was told bladder infections are most common from sex. Is this true?

That is one of the problems the link I gave you said it can be from sex
But children from 4 years old up have common occurrences of bladder infections
It can be from even not using toilet paper properly.
It definitely is not an indication of cheating and IF it IS from sex you would have to be not doing anything with her to be able to use it as evidence.

They can occur after sex, but getting a bladder infection now and then is not uncommon for women... even little girls and occasionally boys and men can get bladder infections.
Read through the link NOhelp4U provided and you will likely find your concerns about your wife can be put to rest... at least from the stand point of her possibly having a bladder infection due to cheating.

Many women find drinking cranberry juice every so often helps to make them less likely. Also wise to drink plenty of water when there is one, as well as the cranberry juice.

Bladder infections can be caused by all kinds of things, most of which are already mentioned in previous post.

The woman's urethra is much shorter than a mans, therefore making it far easier for germs from the outside to travel into the bladder thus causing an infection.

Using perfumed products can sometimes aggravate this area, as can tight clothing ( jeans etc.) sometimes after a period it may be a problem for a few days or after sexual intercourse.

Should you develop this problem, wear loose clothing in that area, avoid soaking in a bath, have showers instead.
Avoid any acidic drinks, spicey foods or alcohol, drink plenty of fluid, if necessary go to your Doctor for a coarse of anti-biotics if it doesn't clear within a few days.

You should always urinate after having sex. It washes away any dirt that might be around the urethra (spelling?) that is one of the most common factors for a UTI.

Yes, that is right. Women when completing urination should wipe UP away from the peri area between the vaginal area and the anus. And when having a bowel movement should wipe up towards the back being careful not to approach that all important middle area.

Getting fecal matter anywhere near the uretha causes UTI and bladder infections.
