Reversing direction of an electric radiator fan
I bougth an electric raditor fan for my Toyota FJ-40. It was advertised as either "Push" or "Pull". No directions came with it.

As it is wired, it "Pulls" air from the engine thur the radiatior. I want it to "Push" rather than pull as I can only mount the fan in front of the radiator.

I have reversed the positve and negative wires and the fan continues in the same direction.

What should I do to reverse the direction of the fan?

    Thanks,

    John Rynes

    Yes, that's what I'd do.

My Hampton Bay Sautern fan came without a remote. Two of the fans rotate in "heating" mode (pushing air up to the ceiling) and one rotates in "cooling" mode (pushing air to the floor). Is there a way to reverse the direction WITHOUT the remote?
