Hi well I recently wrote in as I thought I was pregnant but unfortunately was just late on my period, I really want to get pregnant quite fast as I have recently given birth to my son but unfortunately he was stillborn (but gorgeous and my star in heaven) but me and my partenr are trying for another, I didn't go full term went to 33 weeks and his heartbeat just stopped beating (due to cmv which me and baby both contracted but in England there is yet no cure but I am now immune to this)

Last time I conceived it took me just over a year, I am not using birth control and try to have sex everyday to keep sperm in me at all times and am also taking zinc supplements to increase fertility, has anyone anymore suggestions for both me and my partenr, these will be greatly appreciated.!

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine.

Have you given your body enough time to heal from the pregnancy? It takes a while for everything to get back on track.

Also, actually having sex every day is less effective. It can decrease the potency of the sperm. Let it build up a little - may be try every other day.

Then you can also take 400mg of folic acid each day.

I too am so sorry for your loss. Losing a child that far along in pregnancy is very traumatic.

Now, before you begin again, have you been cleared of the CMV? This is a nasty virus that can linger for quite a while. Has your doctor given you the go ahead to try again?

As NW said, trying every day, or multiple times a day is actually less effective. Every other day is best. Also, do you know when you ovulate? This is very important in the conception factoring.
