    Flying Fright
Hey, I have been cheerleading for about 4 years, but I get really scared when in extensions...

I mean, I can do a perfect scorpion, an almost perfect heelstretch, and a scale.
And I'm not sure if I can do any tumbling, and don't know if I should try..

Any tips for flying? And do you think I should also try tumbling?

I am also a flyer too!! When I get scared to do a new stunt this is what I have to do... I just lock my legs and think to myslef if I just stay locked out I will never fall!! I mean if you think about it you really can't fall in an extension if you are locked because that is all the extension is about. Also another tip is to get your whole squad spotting you. I mean have your three main bases but get the rest of the squad around you. Because when you have 12 people spotting you thereis no possible way that you can fall to the ground. You hope my info helps!! If it doesent let me know and I can give you more tips!!

If you like my answer will you rate it?

ThANKS a lot good luck with this!! :)

Well, I am a front spot, but I know the frightening part of flying. I was almost a flyer and I might be one next year. When we do extension fulldowns, we tell my flyer to keep her legs locked, and maybe spot something on the cheer gym wall. What level team are you on, My team is level 3. It depends, because I have to know what tricks you do. We do baskets, and for the first time, my flyer did a toetouch in the air. Just keep trying.

Ahh I have the same problem. I am a flyer, first year ever flying, and I'm scared when I'm up there. What helps me is looking at one spot on the wall and knowing that your team will catch u.

-I have this same question lol.
