    How do I replace a thermostat on a dodge ram 1500 truck

    . Drain radiator to level below the thermostat.

    . Remove both bolts securing the thermostat housing.

    . Separate housing, remove seal, and remove old thermostat.

    . Install new thermostat and seal in the same position as the old one. If it has a pin, it should face upwards.

    . Install bolts, tighten everything up, and refill with coolant.

    . Check for leaks.

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.:confused:
