Would you believe? Yes! Yet ANOTHER Obama Flip-Flop!
Well folks, this is it! No more doubting that Obama is into CHANGE. Changing His own Positions that is. Quickly following on the tails of his last one, he has now changed his position on Iraq and was finally asked some questions by the press which he attempted to answer with his usual rhetoric to try to cover it up but he didn't fool anyone. Least of all those who know him well by now. That's the guy many want in the White House? I'd be afraid that with all the "Change" in his mind, he'd wake up one early morning at 3:00 a.m. and say we were under attack from a previous peaceful D.C. night, and place everyone under Martial Law. There's just no telling what he would say or do from now on. That's of concern. Why the TREMENDOUS flip-flopping every time he turns around or another issue comes up? This country isn't a pool party you know! Yet he's really going to town with his floppers again! We must seriously ask WHY? What's the matter with him?

Well you out did yourself this time. Obama was speaking about a tactical removal from Iraq to keep injury of our soldiers to a minimum and that bounced right off your calloused heart into a smear post. A recalculation to save American lives, is not a flip-flop, but a blessing. I rather Obama get it correct if he has to be advised a thousand times. We've had enough blunders in this war. Geeeesuz "Sky" please don't vote for Obama, it would pain me to know you got something right.

And he just might save this country's reputation in the world and its soldiers from harm.

You mean to say that the NY Slimes got it wrong when it said he was flip flopping on the issue ? That can't be... the old Grey lady is the paper of record !

He has at times, and even on his website repeated strongly and without wiggle room that he was going to start pulling troops on day 1 and have them out in sixteen months ;no ambiguity. Now he says that he has always held the latest version of his Iraq position... That he has always said hs timetable for withdrawal would be based on conditions on the ground .

Is that what he has been saying ? No it isn't.

"As president I will end this war in Iraq. We will have our
troops home within 16 months." ( Remarks At The Democrat
National Committee Annual Fall Meeting, Vienna, VA, 11/30/07)

    NBC's Meredith Vieira: "You've
Said when, Senator. You've said if you are elected, that within 16 months
You're going to bring all the troops home from Iraq. Senator McCain said
Yesterday that that is a reckless promise that you cannot possibly keep, a
Failure of leadership. And even military leaders say that any withdrawal of
troops would be dictated by security on the ground.
    So how can you guarantee
You can pull out those troops in just 16 months?"

    Obama: "Meredith, I've been
very consistent in saying that we are going to set a timetable
    and we will
Have a prudent pace of withdrawal, one to two brigades per month. At that pace
We can have combat troops out within approximately 16 months." (NBC's "The
    Today Show," 4/8/08)
