    Is there a property lien?
Quick question folks. I am brand new.

I want to determine if there is a lien (most likely a bank) on a house in Milton, MA.

    Where would I go?

Go to the county court house, normally the recorder of deeds, review the deed and it will show any current liens placed on the proeprty.

Approach a real estate clerk, explain that you know nothing about the indexing system, and ask for help.
