    Heat pump
Heat pump runs perfectly for several days, all of a sudden it quits cooling. Everything seems to be running. I cut unit off for short period, and unit runs perfect for several days again, and problem repeats. Is my compressor kicking out on internal overload?

When it quits cooling, does it blow heat ,nothing,or room temp air? When it does it again try to determine if the compressor is still running for sure, get you a themometer and tell us what the air degree is when blowing but not cooling,, feel your lines going into the air handler when working good and again when not working right,, see what the difference is,, look for ice on lines going into airhandler,, make sure the filter is clean
