I'm looking for a movie I remembered when I saw the trailer of funny games (I'm not looking for the original of funny games (I think:))

THe story is similar a family is held hostage in their cabin (or home) (I think it was in the mountains) and are terrorized and tortured by a number of men (think it were escapees of somekind)

I clearly remember these guys wear halloween masks when they invade the house, I remember a scene that the mother looks out of the window and sees some guy with such a mask...

I really don't think it was funny games (1997) cause that's with two boys and I didn't think they had masks..

Hope someone can help me out..
Sadly I don't have anymore information, it's a movie I saw when I was young and had a great inpact on me, thought it was a good and sick thriller...

I'm sorry I do not know the answer to your question... but I would like to say that I watched Funny Games (the new version) and was so bored I thought I'd fall asleep! Please don't watch it if you value your intelligence or your time at all!
