I haven't had my period in 7 months. Around November/December of last year I had my period for a whole month, but before that I didn't have my period for a whole year. I went to the doctor about my problem, but the visit didn't go so well. The doctor got impatient with me, because I was nevous, he couldn't get the speculum inside my vagina, and he gave up. My friend keeps on telling me I should go back for another exam, because my problem seems to be getting worse. But I refuse to go because my fear overtakes me. I really do need a check-up because I'm 21 years old, I am not sexually active, still a virgin. I just need some help on how to get over my fear. :o

You should go see a doctor. And something that might help even though you aren't sexually active is getting on birth control (the pill). If you get on a low dose it helps regulate your periods. But don't worry about talking to someone about it and but you defiantly should go see someone soon. I have a very close friend have something happen like this and when she finally got help she has been having regular periods so don't be afraid it happens to women sometimes
