    Programmable thermostat
    I need to set my thermostat to were it well not go under 68 deg right now it will go down to 45 and my children keep putting it down that low so I need to program this thermostat so this don't keep happening it is the (DICO white-rogers) thanks if you can help

    No matter what you program it for, unless you put a lock box over the thermostat, anyone can change the temp that you have it set on.

    There is no way that I know of, to prevent this from happening, other than a lock over it.

    You could tell them you have installed a camera to record who touches the thermostat, and the next one who does, looses a hand?

    Lol,, lose a hand or get hinnie kicked,, is the best way of doing it,I GUESS BEING FROM THE OLD SCHOOL WHEN A PARENT TOLD THE KIDS TO DO OR NOT DO SOMETHING WE NEW TO LISTEN or else

Just installed a new Noma Programmable Thermostat. However the heat cycle time seems to be too short. It's set to 19.0 C. It turns on the furnace at 19.7 C for only 30 seconds at a time an then shuts off. This repeats many times in one hour. Is this thermostat functioning correctly?
