    Replacement Side View Mirror
I need help replacing the side view mirror of my 2006 Ford Explorer. The mirror is not heated & does not have a signal on it. The replacement part only had 3 bolts that need to be attached. It seems the challenge is getting the old mirror off.

    Can anyone help?

You need to take the door panel off first. This means popping up the panel for the windows and unscrewing the handle and screw that connects the other part of the handle assembly to the door. Next is the light on the door, pop off the top piece and unscrew with hex bit, etc.
