But when I turn the heat it takes about 5-6 min then it turns on but my a/c does not. Can you help me please. What can I do

    You need to call in a expert,you could need a tstat,, and matbe not. Have you checked breaker to a/c?with tstat set on cool/auto fan does anything run?if indoor fan in furnace comes on go outside and see if anything running,, will probably save you $$ if you know nothing about your system to call out a HVAC company,, good luck

Thermostat turns on furnace and then thermostat shuts back to HOLD [ 7 Answers ]

I believe that when we re-run the program with the correct date and time, if the temp has to go up, the furnace runs until it gets the appropriate temp, then it turns off and when it does that, the thermostat also turns off going to the HOLD state.:confused:
