I want to buy a house and convert it into a restaurant, how do I do this and how do I get funds to buy and do this? I live in Ohio and am uncertain of zoning laws and such any advice on where to start?

You need to go to your city county building or municipal building and ask for the zoning and codes and they can tell you. Very likely if there are no other businesses on the street or the immediate area it may not be zoned for commercial use and you wouldn't be able to.

And, if the property that you purchase is not zoned for commercial use, then you most likely will need to go before the city counsel or other body of people in order to request to have the zoning changed.
