I actually have a few questions. OK first, how soon during pregnancy can you feel the nausea, heartburn, and diarrhea accompanied with it? Secondly, when does a woman ovulate? After their period? Before? And thirdly, how soon will a pregnancy show on an hpt? Thank you for your advice in advance.

In answer to your questions in order:

1) Some women never get these symptoms. It is different for every woman. Nausea, particularly morning sickness is usually in the first trimester (first 12 weeks). Heartburn is usually later in the pregnancy when baby is taking up all the room in the abdominal cavity. Diarrhea, well, I can tell you that not all women experience this at all.

2) Ovulation is different for every woman. For a woman with a 28 day cycle ovulation occurs anywhere from the 12th to the 16th day after the first day of the last period.

3) When does pregnancy show on hPT? Again, individual. Some women show a positive a few days before their missed period, while others (like me) don't show up until week 12 when the levels are actually beginning to decline.
