Verbal expressions
I need to know how to translate this verbal expression into an equation when X represents the number.
The product of a number and -4 is -24

Hmm... It has to be either
x + (-4) = -24; x = -20
x (-4) = -24; x = 6
X (-4) = 6; x = -24
x + (-4) = -24; x = 20

Stuck again on something different this time :(
Find all values of b for which the equation 4x^2 - bx + 13 = 0 has 2 real roots.
I tried the quadratic formula and got x=\frac{b\pm\sqrt{b^2-208}}{8} and subbed that back in but get down to -b^2 + 4b + 3sqrt{b^2 -208} +208 = 0 for the positive...

I use a program called The Regex Coach which usually allows me to hack out regex expressions but I'm having a tough time with this one.
Here's the line... I have about 50-60K of these to parse in each file and 3 files total.
Diesel,None,None,None,DTH,6,"00,111",4,No,0.92811,"33,321.00", YES...
+ and - rational expressions
