    Doberman not eating.
This is my second Doberman puppy, with symptoms like the first one in which I had to put her to sleep, she has runny stools and stopped eating. She is 14 weeks old the vet has given me the same medicine as the first puppy all test are negative just like my first puppy. I also have a Boston terrier puppy she has shown no symptoms. Does anybody have any suggestions as I am out of answers?

What meds did he give? Has he had his shots? If not, it sounds like parvo and, even if it's not, parvo is such a horrible disease I'd recommend taking your dog elsewhere and getting a second opinion just to be safe.

Thank you for your concern my puppy still has the same symptoms but she is getting quite thin now. I had my puppy Sophie tested twice now for parvo which is negative. The medication I have been given is Primor (120mg) in which she receives one and a half tab daily she sees the vet tomorrow, "codiddia", is the name of the disease. I have given the change the vet thought as well, will see what this vet analysis is.

Do you mean "coccidia"? Yeah, sometimes puppies get it when they come straight from the breeder. Some are actually starting to use a horse med, "marquis" to get rid of puppy coccidia, which is horrible. I wish you the best of luck!

Really, it's most likely going to depend on the pup.
You should probably be doing meds for 10-14 days until the puppy shows no symptoms for at least 48 hours.

This site has a lot of info on coccidia, how it's spread etc.

Coccidia shouldn't have killed a puppy. I don't remember how long it takes, but it seems to me my puppies with it firmed up in a few days.
