So you can receive the best qualified answer can you provide the model # of your dryer? It should be located inside the door.

I thought this model looked familiar. A family member of mine will not part with it.

    1. Check fusing 2, 30 amp fuses

    2. If need be a tester is cheap but get one that will measure 220 vac.

    3. If it is not the fuse, pull of back panel and look for burnt wires. Remember to ALWAYS unplug the appliance first.

Yes, this is the first time in 14 years I have had any problems. I'm not ready to give up on it!
Thanks for your help. I will start looking into a tester and see what I come up with.

My cousins problem was the thermal cut-off which wasn't too hard to repair. Hopefully your repairs will be minor.

Have you checked to see if your home circuit breaker is tripped ? I should have suggested this first.

No I haven't. The Dryer still runs. So I should check it first?

If half of your home circuit breaker is tripped... the unit will run but produce no heat.
If voltage is there, you may need a multimeter to proceed.

Sorry, by another name, a fuse tester. The service member where you purchase it will be able to assist you with that.

My brother has a tester so I'm going to go get it. One more IMPORTANT question...
    Do I unplug to test?

My washing machine model is kenmore 70 series and serial number is SM 971 0804-A. The belt was broken. I ordered another one. I tried to unscrew and put the belt back in but couldn't because it is bigger than the hole. Is there any way that I am able to get the manual? Any suggestions will be...
