    Mathmatical Progression


    I would either like the answer or have the formula set up for the following:

    How many sets of 5 numbers in 39 sets of 5 number combinations in 1 through 39?

    You have that written rather confusing.Do you mean how many ways can we choose 5 numbers out of 39? Like a lottery?
