    Eloping to avoid family feuds
    Hi!

I have had it with the family politics involved with planning my wedding with my lovely fiancé. We want to elope at short notice somewhere in europe that is relatively inexpensive - does anyone have any details on this? Where might be good? Who could help us organise this within a month?

I just want to be married just the 2 of us somewhere idylic and romantic.

    Thanks!

Had I been as smart as you I would have done the same. What I would do is elope in vegas. There are very pretty settings that you can be married in that can be very romantic. (not talking about tacky wedding chapels) but beautiful hotels

Whether you elope or get married traditionally, family usually hate each other I've noticed... we eloped to avoid family fighting, but they fought anyway... and it's usually the mothers that are the culprits... es man.

I don't mind if they hate each other - I just mind if they hate each other at my wedding! :)

Yea... elope... good idea... and whenever there's problems, stick to what you and your wife decide, they will NEVER have your best interest in mind, because they will always have THEIR family interest in mind first... always talk it out between the two of you and screew the inlaws... it isn't worth it... avoid a lot of headaches, stick together and make a pact that you won't listen to the rents.
