Does this sound Pregnant?
I am going on my 3rd month of not having a period. I have been a little sensitive to certain smells, and I have my days where I just want to eat all day and I eat weird combinations. My back aches sometimes while I am working for more than 4 hours, but the thing that is confusing me is I fell like I am going to start my period. I am achy and moody and tired. The thing that is weird is that I AM NOT STARTING. This also happened last month when I was supposed to start my period and didn't. I don't have the $$ right now to go to the doctor, but I do need to make an appointment in the next couple of weeks. I guess my question is is is possible to cramp like you are going to start your period when you are pregnant? Also I have had a discharge, clear with no smell but could someone please let me know what you think? Thanks so much.

Have you taken a HPT? That would be the first place to start. And, don't forget, use first morning urine.

Many women will feel like they are about to start their period at any time in early pregnancy. Maybe try your local health clinic or a planned parenthood to test.

I have taken home test and they come up negative, but I haven't taken them in the morning. Didn't know I was supposed to. I will try it. I have talked to a few people and said that they took a lot of home test and they all came up negative, and a blood test was the best way. SO MUCH $$. I will probably go to the doctor the first week in July so I will let you all know how it is. Thanks so super much;-)

Read instructions. Usually 2 hpts will diminish false negatives.

The reason for using a HPT with first morning urine is that it has the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone called hCG. You see, during the day you drink and pee, this dilutes the concentration of the hormone and makes it harder to detect.
While many HPTs do not state that it has to be used first thing in the morning, it is just a general rule of thumb that the test will be more accurate.

shapes, I already see your red square so I won't give you a reddie...
But... there're plenty of women out there who aren't virgins and haven't had their periods in a few months, and they're not "prego". Cycles are tricky... kinda like a date. They're sometimes early, sometimes late, and sometimes just stand you up and have you waiting at the bar, looking like an idiot.
