What's the Matter with Howard Dean and the DNC?
Is this true democracy at its best or worse? What's the matter with Howard Dean trying to shut mega-millions of Hillary's supporters (which I am still one) out of the Denver convention as per the reports? And why is the Obama campaign trying to UNSEAT Hillary's delegates to give them to Obama?

There's something terribly wrong here and I can now see why JUST SAY NO DEAL has begun to breathe life! All who still support Hillary should visit this site and see how many supporters she still has and how they will strategize between now and November to get her on the ticket still! After learning about this Dean story, she has to be written in no matter what!

Tom, thanks So Much for the link to "Just Say No Deal"!!

I think Evita should still push hard to challenge Obama's delegates at the credentials committee meeting . In addition she should insist on the roll call vote and a prime time address at the convention as quid pro quo for her tacit support. If she had brains ;she wrapped up the details before she begins her joint appearances with the big O this week.

    Hello again, Sky:

I have only one thought to extend to these scorned women...

IF you are truly in the center of the party, and you truly are politically aware, then you KNOW that John McCain WILL take away your right to choose. He WILL appoint THREE Supreme Court Justices. Those THREE added to the radical right wing THREE that'll be left, WILL insure it.

Given the above, these women are either fake, or they don't really care about the gains of women, or they are just soooooo pissed off, that just for spite, they're willing to sacrifice their children's welfare, and indeed, maybe even the country.

    Which one are you?

Actually neither! I am not at all for abortion, excon. As a matter of principle and of my faith as a Christian, I cannot support any candidate that is for abortion. I suspect there are plenty of other voters, both men and women who feel the same way and thus, will either vote for McCain or sit it out this year. I believe given the current choices, I'll take the latter.

P.S. Since Hillary is no longer to be considered for President, though she too could have been pro-choice but with a more conservative slant, it is safe to assume that at least people will know there are so many others who still support her on other issues as well as her experience, a real PLUS in my book. And coupled with delegates proposed to be taken away from her by the Democratic Party (and it's the PRINCIPLE of doing this that is so wrong) I feel I can comfortably use the following ending line so others can know what is truly going on. They really need to know as that is something I truly cannot support happening to anyone. It is unjust, unfair, and just plain WRONG!

    Hello again, Sky:

Then you'll excuse me if I still think you're a John McCain plant. I don't know how you can be pro choice with a conservative slant. What does that mean? It's OK to have an abortion because God will forgive your murderous ways?

    Hello excon,

I cannot change your thinking on things but given what I have said, you should be able to figure out that I am definitely not pro-choice. I have said I am not pro-choice, just as many citizens who are of different political parties are not yet they can differ with their party on that issue. I said Hillary has been known to be more conservative than other candidates on many things, however. And no, it is never o.k. to have an abortion under most circumstances. Women, outside of an issue with illness when carrying the baby, have a choice in intimate relations to JUST SAY NO or be protected. It's a no-brainer, it's really just that simple. It is through intense prayer that God will guide a woman considering the unthinkable (abortion) as to what to ultimately do. As to God forgiving a person, that is under His purview and not mine. I cannot speak for what He would do as each situation is different with a different set of circumstances. You may have now figured it out as to why I have remained silent about choosing a candidate for president to fully support. This is the main reason and even when Hillary was running, I still said I did not support anyone as I had reservations about this one issue that truly matters to me. I hope women all over realize the sin they commit when they destroy an innocent life. To the heart-less, that life, that lives right under their heart, is just like dissolving salt in water. But to the life who feels, who has come into the world through no fault of their own, they deserve the chance to live even if the mother ends up giving away the child to an adoption agency because it is unwanted. They should never take the easy way out by simply aborting if the mother is any kind of God-fearing, decent human being with feelings. Putting it up for adoption is far better than abortion under any circumstances. Just think, if all pro-abortion readers here would have been aborted, we would not be having this discussion. But isn't it great that your mothers thought more about you than simply ending your life? Every child that comes into the world deserves respect and lots of LOVE! So, when confronting the abortion issue, you must always place yourself in the position of the fetus and what it would want to have done to it. Life or early death at a whim? Good conscience or bad choice? Love in your heart for the child you created in your womb or utter desecration of the life that God gave you as a gift? I hope all parents use their good Faith and Love in their heart in order to come to a conclusion on what to do should this situation ever arise for them and I hope it never does. CHOOSE LIFE -- AFTER ALL, YOU HAVE IT! GIVE IT TO YOUR UNBORN CHILD AS WELL!

So, Obama is asking his supporters to help retire Hillary's debt. Well, all of you, what are you waiting for? Dig deep into your pockets and help your candidates's wish come true (that he can gain Hillary's supporters with this Cardinal Act of Mercy)!

I knew that would be the quid pro quo. Good... Evita draining his coffers and he is not raising as much as he had hoped because Evita's big money supporters wallets are closed to him for now.

But I do give him Kudos for refusing public funding . Public funding has been a joke whose time has come and gone. I never check the box on the tax form for it.

    Hello again, Sky:

What? By counting the votes and adding 'em up? Yup. That's how we play politics here in this country. You'd like something different?
