    Maytag Dryer LDG482
I have a Maytag Dryer LDG482, and the belt broke. I found a new belt, but I can't get the dryer apart to replace the belt. I took out all of the visible screws from the outside, and took the control unit off the top< but I can't get the top to budge, or the shell to lift. If anyone has taken this thing apart please let me know what I can do!

I do not know this dryer, but for a service manual try any of the following Sears links :

    Sears on-line website

    http://www.sears.com/Service

    http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirecta

    http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirectb

Alternative : call one of the local repair service man !

    Success!
