    Repaying a debt
    If I am making an effect to repay a debt (by send in a payment but not what they are asking for )and they still take me to court will the judge still allow them to take money out of my paycheck...

    If you go to court, and if they win a judgment, and if your state allows wage garnishment, the answer is yes.

    Probably, if you made only one payment the judge most likely will hold you responsible for the rest, show your payment and ask the court for a voluntary repayment plan better than a judgment, you'll get your chance.

    With the info you gave I can't tell you much more but there might be other possibilities if is not already too late and depending in the exact circunstances

    Yes, unless you have a written agreement, yes they may.
