Ok here's the deal... last month my period was 2 days late (really no biggie) but when I got it it was awful. The cramps were so bad that I couldn't go to work for 2 days and I was bleeding so much with huge clots all through it. Now granted, I just got off the pill about 8-9 months ago now.

Now this month, I was supposed to get my period on the 18th but it still hasn't come. 6 days late this time... should I take a test? Or did I perhaps miscarry last month and not even realize it? Any advice would be helpful. It's never been that bad.

I would take a home pregnancy test
I cramped and bleed with my 4th pregnancy for a couple months.

I've never been pregnant though. I have all the signs that my period is on the verge (lower backache, slight crampy, fatigue) and I have had them for about 2 weeks now...

Premenstrual symptoms can mirror pregnancy symptoms. All you can do now is wait to see if you miss your period and test using first morning urine.

For both of my miscarriages, I had horrible cramping and lots of bleeding. The cramps lasted a day. I couldn't get out of bed. I passed several clots and when I actually miscarried there was instant relief. All the cramps went away immediately.

Not saying you had a miscarriage but that was what mine was like.
