I'm 18 years old. I was on the nuva ring for almost two years. I stopped using it around December of 07. I've had unprotected sex with my ex ever sense I stopped using that, but did not become pregnant. Im thinking I still had hormones from the nuva ring.my period became very irregular, I had it on January the 20 , February the 25, march the 23 and that was the last time. On April 30 I started spotting with brown discharge for 3 days, then on may 18 I started spotting and having brown discharge again. I also had started taking prenatal vitamins in the beginning of may just because it would make my hair healthier. Last time that I had unprotected sex was on may 17. Could I be pregnant or is it the prenatal vitamins?:confused:

ANYTIME YOU HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX, NO MATTER WHAT BIRTH CONTROL YOU ARE USING, YOU CAN BE PREGNANT.

2. I don't understand what you mean by "can you be pregnant or is it the prenatal vitamins?" Prenatal vitamins don't show symptoms of pregnancy. They're just simply vitamins.

The best thing for you to do is attend your doctors surgery or family planning clinic. There is possibility you can be pregnant like always when you have unprotected sex. The vitamins should not effect your period.
