OK... I've had girls... and I've had plenty of hookups... but a hookup doesn't or didn't ever mean that , that girl was actually attracted to me . Hmmm well basically I'm 16 years old and I haven't had a girlfriend in about 3 years ha, I'm not really sure why. Girls used to tell me that they like me and what not but ever since my last official girlfriend it just seems like there isn't one single girl in the entire world that likes me so the question is... what do I do ?

It sometimes seems like there's no one out there, but you will meet someone. Just be yourself and try to be patient. You don't want to settle for just anyone.

The thing that stands out in your post to me is the "I've had plenty of hook ups".

At 16, plenty of hook ups, may be a good thing, if all you want is a little tramp, looking to get laid.

Sounds to me like that is not what you really want.

The problem is, if any of those "plenty of hook ups" talked to their friends, and they talked to their friends... well, I think you can figure out where I'm headed with this line of thinking, right?

Nothing spreads faster that the mouths of teenage girls, and what happened with the boy they were with.

Slow down on the hook ups, and like the other advice you received here, be patient.

If you intend on finding a quality girlfriend, she is not going to be impressed by all your
"hook ups".

Wait for someone suitable to come along. Maybe you don't go out enough and don't give yourself enough opportunities to meet somebody you hit it off with? Make sure you be yourself, and if you like a girl, to tell her in an appropriate way at an appropriate time.

You are only 16 so your whole world can't consist of too much more than your county so be patient and give it time. Maybe you could talk to a female friend and ask her to give you some pointers on pros, cons and needs improvement tips so you have an idea what you might be doing wrong if it is even you.

I think that you should put yourself out that a little more and talk to a bunch of girls someone has to like you for you, get to know as many girls as you can, you never know until you try ;]
