    Murry mower repair
How do I replace the pull rope on my Murry lawn mower as the rope broke and the mechanism is riveted down. Do these rivets need to be drilled out and replaced with screws?

There should be 4 bolts to remove and the entire top should lift off. Do not rmove the rivets.

You do not need to drill the rivets, unless the spring is broken. Remove the entire blower housing and remove the old rope, wind the spring, insert the new rope.
