    How to find a landlord
    I want to find out who owns a particular building or who manages it?

    Contact the County Assessor, or register of deeds in the county where the property is located.

    Ask them for the taxpayer for that property.

    Most cases, the owner is the tax payer.

    There are some exceptions, but this is usually the case.

    It is public record and anyone can obtain the taxpayer for any property in the US.

    The tax office (assessor or commissioner) has all property in the county indexed alphabetically by name, and cross-referenced by tax districts and account numbers. They also have a tax plat which is a map showing each property. You may be able to gain access online.
