Strange menstrual cycle and exhaustion, with intense headaches
I have recently been experiencing slight nausea in the morning and throughout the day. I have also been feeling quite exhausted, even if I have gotten enough sleep. I have been experiencing a strange menstrual cycle for the last few months. The first week instead of being normal, there is a reddish/brown discharge, then the 'normal' bleeding begins.the nausea is newly formed, over the last three days. I have also been having quite intense headaches. A few months ago, I had a cyst on my ovary that burst, could the abnormal periods be caused by that?

    :(

Does anyone know what any of these symptoms might mean?
    I am getting quite scared.
I have not been to a doctor yet...

Time to see your doctor to rule out any concern regarding a cyst. If you are sexual active, pregnancy is always a possibility... exhaustion, nausea, unusual cycle, are all possibly related and some women will have increased headaches in early pregnancy due to increased blood flow.

My daughter turned 14 in feb 2007. In march 2007 she got her very first period. It was a pretty heavy one and she has not had another period since! It is now sept (6 months later!) Should I be concerned or be patient and just let nature take its course?
