My A/C unit was freezing up outside, got it serviced w/ 2 lbs of freon & then it started working fine. A week later, water dripped from the vent in the ceiling. I got a wet vac & sucked out the drainage pipes after finding puddles of water in my attic and mostly in the reserve pan. The pipes were in fact clogged.

Now, there AC will not come on. I checked all the breakers & reset switches. No luck. It had been running fine through all of this...

There is a system to trouble shooting AC troubles. If nothing is running, that includes the compressor, the condenser fan motor and the squirrel cage blower motor, you hunt for lose of power to the 120 volt part of the system, this problem sill usually be a breaker in the breaker panel, more than likely a 30 amp breaker.

If you find that you have power going to the furnace, or air handler, then you look for a low voltage problem, This could be a bad thermostat switch, or a fuse on the circuit board, a loose connection in the low voltage wiring.

If you have no problem inside the house, that is with the furnace or air handler then you go to the condensing unit and start looking for a problem there. If nothing out side is running you check for a blown fuse, this can be a fuse in a fuse box near the unit or a tripped breaker in or near the main breaker panel, or it could be both since sometimes they are double protected. If the outside blower is running but the compressor is not then you look for a problem in the unit like a bad compressor or a bad capacitor, a loose connection, a time delay device, and other problems that it could be that you would not be able to find.
