    Whatever her reasons are, you have a chance EVERY SINGLE DAY to be an awesome and confident and self-assured man. (how old are you?)

    My wife didn't like me much at all when we first started dating, she sort of "gave in" to my repeated attempts to take her out. Then, she actually had fun. I was fun to be around... still am.

    Pity, attraction, politics, geography, hair color... who cares why someone starts going out with someone else? All that matters is that this is an actual opportunity.

    Make the most of it. Since most relationships end, meaning yours most likely will end too at some point, make the most of this time. Be a great, non-clingy, ambitious, fun guy. DO yourself and her proud.
