    Winxp reboot : mouse & k/b hang
Recently I encounter my system starts to hang whenever I do a system reboot tru the shutdown option. All seems OK until it went to the desktop, all of the startup went fine but after that, no response from mourse and keyboard at all. I will have to do a hard reboot (pressing the reset button on the front panel) to resolve the problem. While booting, the system will detect some files cross-linked or file name truncated. The same symptoms always persist when I do a system reboot.

I have tried to reinstalled my m/b chipset driver (nForce2) but can't seems to solve the problem. I even tried to uninstalled some unused problems to released my free disk space. Don't think its my mouse or k/b hardware problem, should be some boot sequence went bersek when I do a system reboot and cannot find my drivers or link files for my mouse and k/b.

What else can I do or try? Please advice.
