    Wrongful Termination.
OK... this is a very detailed and lengthy subject so I'll state the facts and hope for the best. I worked for a very important corporation for almost 4 years. I have had pristine job performance reviews all 4 years, and never had ANY issues getting along with others or thriving in a team environment. The problems is I believ I was wrongfully terminated due to cross discrimination. I am by NO MEANS a racial person as I have frinds of all ethnic backgrounds. Well the two "associates" I refer to are of color and of seem to have had a issue with me since the beginning of their employment a year or so ago. I sit right behind the one and see what they watch, hear how they talk and so forth. I have gone to HR regarding the fact that I feel targeted. They think I am racial because I made a comment in a private conversation regarding a shopping mall being in the ghetto. I am told that there is no case for myself due to me not having ANY written documentation of my attacks by them and invasion of MY feeling and conversations from them. That would be because I went to my manger each time an incident occurred. The one associate has been wanting my position for sometime now and seems to do everything in her power to get me into trouble. There are never any warnings, just me being pulled into HR because I have "offended" them again. Where are my rights? I know some people are Just sensitive but why do I always have to walk on eggshells because if I sneeze wrong I am offending her? Please help! I can provide ANY answers if you just ask questions. This just happened so I am still numb and confused as to how my HR department has let me down. I mean in understand that a lawsuit form the OTHER side of the fence would be a bigger blow for the company then one form mine.

    Thanks!

First you need to find out if you are in an At Will state. If you are there is no such thing as wrongful termination. They can fire you any time for any reason.

The only way you would get anything out of this is if you can prove you were discriminated against as a protected class. And that seems highly unlikely.

If you decide to sue you have an almost overwhelming burden of proof, including a 4-year employer letting you go and retaining a 1-year (or two 1-year) employees.

If it's an important corporation they have dotted their I's and crossed their t's. They aren't new at this game.

Consult with an Attorney and see what he/she says - find someone well versed in labor law.

If you are in an employment at will State you can be terminated because someone doesn't like the color of your socks - or for any other reason they can think of.
