    Weird feeling, not physical, help
Every time I watch a movie/tv show and a girl is in trouble and a guy saves her, then hugs her (usually cause she's crying) I get this weird feeling, like I want that to happen to me, and when I am alone at night when I am feeling alone and insecure and afraid, I want a man there beside me, to tell me it all going to be OK, and your safe, and its over.
This had only been happpening for six months or so, and well last night it spiked oddly. I am 13 and I was wondering if wanted a man there, with me when I am feeling insecure is normal, or am I completely weird.

    Hello s:

I think everybody wants a nice warm body in bed to cuddle with, and to be safe with. I don't think you're nuts.

I think its normal to have those feelings, as your going through a maturing process, and growing up to be a mature female. Relax and be aware that your changing, and don't let it get you carried away.

I absolutely love it when I see that in a movie. Seriously I want to be a damsel in distress and have some hot stud with a raging six pack to come and save me, preferably in the rain...
    So I think you're perfectly normal :)

It's normal! Plus your hormones are probably racing right now wanting that special someone.
    Hang in there.
