    Anyone know anything about this picture?
    Not sure if this is in the right category. Would anyone know anything about this portrait

    It could be an Indian or Pakistani painting.
    The clothes is somewhat similar to that region.

    Are there any signatures or part of signature on the painting?
    Is there some written words on the background of the painting?

    Hmmmm it is very beattiful, oil painted, looks midevil era, other than that I isn't sure

    I think that it's a black and white print of what some people think that Jesus Christ looked like in his youth. There is also what appears to be a halo around his head. You find halos around his head in many of the representations of him. These kinds of prints are found a lot in Christian churches. From the looks of the aging of it and style of the art, I would say that it probably dates from the 19th century. It also looks like it was hanging in the sun for a considerable time at some point in its history.
