    Contact a lawyer.

    I can tell you that it won't be easy, even IF medical malpractice was committed.

    Can you give me some details so that I can tell whether malpractice happened?

    You will need an attorney, and you will need to get another or a couple other medical professionals to testify against the one doctor or hospital

    If you are in Nevada, then you don't. Doctors are very well protected here from malpractice lawsuits. First you need to consult with an attorney who specializes in medical malpractice. First consultations are generally free. Then the cse merits and fees will be discussed. The lawyer will probably want a retainer and periodic payments as the case proceeds. It can be very expensive.
