    1985 Honda Civic
My dad has been doing work on my old beater... a 1985 Honda Civic 1500. It's a manual transmission.

He is trying to find out what the intake valve clearance or the exhaust valve clearance or the tappet clearance.. for my car.

Where can I find this information or better yet can someone give me an answer?

    Thanks,
    Jax

Go to the auto parts store such as Pep Boys,Auto Zone,Checker and buy the HAYNES repair book for that car. He should find the specs he needs in chapter 1 {Routine maintenance} OR chapter 2 {General engine overhaul procedures}.

Red Pepper Racing has an online factory service manual you can look up. This is the best site for information for the 84-87 civics and crx's Look me up when you get there. Same screen name as here.
