Clog in service pipe
I did repair on the service line coming into the house. After I turned the water back on,I have no water coming from the kitchen sink,or,the toilet.Everything else works as usual.
Is there a chance I somehow got dirt,or,some other "Clogger" in the line?
How do I remove the "Clog".
Thank You
Jerry

Hey Jerry,

Make book on it. Sounds like you got dirt in the open line and the first fixtures making a draw sucked it up where it's now clogging up the sink faucet and the toilets ballcock.
How do I remove the "Clog".
You flush it out. Let's do the kitchen first. Shut the water off to the house and open up the kitchen faucet. Remove the cartridge and check the inlet ports for any blockage. Now, with the valve still open, turn the water back on to flush out the supplies and the open valve body. You should have a full stream coming out of the open valve body. If not click on back. Do the toilet the same way. Shut the water off at the stop and take the top off the ballcock. Now turn the water back on to flush it out. Again, you should have a full stream. Reassemble everything and test. Better now? Good luck, Tom

"Speedball",
Not only are you "Speedy",you are correct, what a combo!
I did just what you suggested, guess what?. The "Toilet",and, the "Kitchen Sink" are once again functioning like they did before I allowed "DIRT" to enter the system... Shame on me.
Than You Very Much
