    Who pays hoa fees on the quit claim deed
    Hi
    I did a quit claim deed on 05/2006 property belong to my sister and it didn't go well so we dida quit claim deed back to her on 02/07 so she took back the property but meanwhile she had hoa fees and now I received a letter from hoa that they will garnish my wages if I don't pay the fees. What do I do? Am I responsible or is my sister responsible for the hoa fees since she was the first owner and last. She couldn't afford the mortgage payment so they forclose on her also. Help?

    The owner of record at the time the fees were due.
