    F1 to H1
    Hi all,
    I'm an International student Pursuing M.S Computer science.I want to discontinue(My grades went down in my 3rd Sem no way to get graduate and I don't want to waste my time) my course and want to be in H1B.My question is If I discontinue the course and If I apply for H1B and let say I got it in H1b lottery.And If I go for stamping do they reject stating I didn't graduate being here in F1 or there will be any issues.Regarding my H1b or re entry in US .

    If your previous degrees and work experience meet the requirements, it should not be a problem BUT to change status to H-1B, timing plays a key role here. You have to maintain your status in US until commencement of work or leave the country and have consular processing. If you have overstay record, you won't be eligible for any kind of work visas.
