    Kenmore gas dryer will not spin
    I have a Kenmore gas dryer md# 11076702693 that will not spin. The dryer has been thourghly cleaned, belt checked, everything seems to be OK. When I push the start button the motor makes a "clicking" sound as I push the button and then the switch cuts out all together. Is it possible that there may be a bad sensor in the motor or is the motor shot? How do I check for open or bad sensors vs. a bad motor.

    Check and/or replace the start capacitor. It is not an expensive item , and in most cases it is often the cause of such a problem.

Greetings, My 5 year old kenmore elite washer (11022932100) sometimes won't spin in the spin cylce. I have spun tub manually once around and then it has worked after I did that. If it goes through the cycle but is not spinning it still sounds like it is working.Any ideas?
